The unified cutlery theory will never work because the electroweak interactions of knorks will never allow the elementary particles of a spife to fuse with it. Trust me, I took 3 years of utensil physics.

Splayed sounds like something you get rather than something you use.

I could get behind a knork. That could come in handy for slightly oversized little wienies.

I could handle the existence of the spork, if it was part of a complete cutlery set that includes the splayd, the spife and the knork.

Although, as the Utensil Physicist points out, this would be impossible. What a pity.

However, “knork” = NEW FAVORITE WORD
